Privacy
Nakama is a private meeting place for friends. Accounts exist only with an invite code. This page says what the site stores and why.
Who runs the site
The admins Kazuha or Hana. For questions, a copy of your data or deletion, message an admin in the forum or on our Discord.
Where the data is
On a rented one.com server in Leipzig, Germany. The site loads no fonts, scripts or images from other sites. There are no ads and no analytics or tracking services.
What is stored
- Your account: name, role and your password, only as a secure hash (scrypt), never in plain text.
- Sign-ins: a random session token, the time and your IP address. A session ends when you sign out or after 12 hours, with “Stay signed in” after 30 days.
- Failed sign-ins: IP address and time, to stop people from guessing passwords. They are deleted after 15 minutes.
- Forum: your posts and pictures. Location data and other metadata are removed from pictures on upload.
- Game profiles: when an admin links your game account to your account, the game server sends level, team and progress. Never currency or inventory.
- Admin: invite codes and a log of admin actions, for example who locked an account.
Cookies
Only three, all for the site itself: your sign-in, a protection against forged forms, and your language.
Backups and deletion
A backup is made every night and kept for 14 days. If you want your account or posts deleted, tell an admin. They disappear from the backups after 14 days at the latest.
